UPDATE: Request for Interest Potential Mixed-Use Development

The City Council of Dahlonega, Georgia is seeking Letters of Interest expressions from qualified development entities to repurpose all or part of a 2.6-acre parcel of city-owned downtown property for economic development purposes. The property was approved for rezoning to PUD March 21, 2019.  Proposals have been received for possible demolition of the existing building on the property, but award will be determined after receipt and review of LOI responses.  Further information regarding the RFI may be found below.

The City of Dahlonega is requesting sealed proposals for Integrated Local Government Financial Software Solution.

Proposals will be received by the City of Dahlonega, Purchasing Department, 465 Riley Road, Dahlonega, Georgia 30533 until 2:00 PM local time on April 10, 2019. Late proposals will not be considered nor returned. Proposals will be formally accepted and acknowledged at the City Hall by staff personnel.

The City will select the successful proposal based upon several evaluation factors: software quality and features, price, vendor's experience, qualifications of key personnel, technical support system and vendor references. The award will then be given to a qualified vendor with the proposal that is the most advantageous to the City.

The City reserves the right to request clarification on any proposal or to ask respondents to supply any additional material deemed necessary to assist during the evaluation of the proposal. The City reserves the right to change the RFP schedule, issue amendments to the RFP, cancel or reissue the RFP.

Proposals may not be withdrawn for one hundred twenty (120) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by O.C.G.A. §13-10-22.
